Welcome to the AP Biology Home Page!
I'm so happy to have you in AP Chemistry class this year!  I look forward to helping you succeed in this class, and have created this site to provide you with help and guidance for your success.

Classroom Expectations:

  • Please bring your biology book, biology notes, hand-outs, pencil/pen, and calculator every day to class.  This will help you be better prepared to learn the daily lessons.
  • A classroom set of text books will be provided for you.  You will be given a book to take home, and leave at home.
  • Do your homework when it is assigned.  Homework is designed as an opportunity for you to practice the skills that you will be tested on.  The more practice you engage in prior to the test, the better you will do!
  • Complete your lab reports by the designated time.  Lab reports are a great way to improve your grade!
Ask questions!  If you do not understand a concept, please do not hesitate to ask me to explain it again, in a different way.  We all learn at different rates and in different ways.

Please note:  We will need to keep to our pacing schedule as closely as possible.  If you are having trouble with the labs, homework, take-home tests, etc., please be proactive in getting extra help.  Forming study groups is highly advised, and coming in for extra help with me is strongly encouraged.  You stand a better chance of success by working as a team instead of going at it alone – we’re all in this together!  Remember, if you’ve not spent at least 5-6 hours per week in studying (reading, outlining, practicing problems, working on lab reports, etc.) outside of class time, you are most likely falling behind!
